Towing without a dolly

Can the 2020 Nissan Versa S be towed flat for short trips behind the Class C? Manual trans if that makes a difference. Has anyone done it without cooking the transmission?

If it's the manual, you're probably good for short hauls as long as it's in neutral. I've seen people flat tow them without issues, but make sure you double-check the owner's manual to be safe.

I'll pull out the manual tonight and see what Nissan's official word is. Besides putting it in neutral do you know if the ignition needs to be left on to prevent the steering wheel from locking?
