I just got my hands on a 2011 Nissan Versa hatchback, but it's got this annoying clunk coming from underneath. The shop told me the rear subframe bushings are completely worn out. I've come across a few DIY methods that suggest you can burn or press them out without taking the subframe all the way out, but I'm not sure if that's doable in my garage. Do you think that would actually be a time-saver, or is it better to just drop the subframe for safety?
