Fuel pump trouble on 2019 Versa

My 2019 Versa SV has been giving me some headaches lately and mostly around what I suspect is the fuel pump. A few times now, I've had sluggish starts and hesitation when accelerating, especially after sitting overnight, I'm kinda confused cos there have been no codes or warning lights, just an obvious lag and occasional sputter.
I've seen a few scattered reports of early fuel pump wear on this generation, but nothing real consistent to draw a hypothesis. Send help please
Would love to know what others have run into before I start swapping parts or heading to the dealer.

That sounds super annoying... Sluggish starts with no codes usually means there is a fuel pump issue or maybe a clogged filter. At least that's what I know. I think this is a wear and tear thing about the Versa or so I heard from others with this experience. Hope you catch what's wrong soon.

I've seen similar reports on various cars, not just Versas, where a failing fuel pump doesn't always throw a code immediately.
So I have the same guess as @LA 14KERS about having a fuel pump issue.
But before swapping the pump, try checking the fuel pressure with a gauge, both at idle and under load if possible.
Sometimes, a weak fuel pressure regulator or even a clogged fuel filter can mimic these issues.
It's worth ruling out the simpler stuff first before considering any replacement or a trip to the dealer!
 
yeah I get you. Sluggish starts and hesitation after sitting overnight do sound like a weak fuel pump, and yeah, a few others have mentioned similar issues. Even though theres no warning light or code, it could also be something like a clogged fuel filter or dirty injectors.
Before throwing parts at it, maybe try a fuel system cleaner and see if you can get the fuel pressure checked.
