Posting for a friend who has a 2020 Nissan Sentra that's having issues with the heat ,it only gets lukewarm at best. The temperature control knob also feels strange, when turned all the way hot or cold, it slightly springs back about an eighth of a turn. The fan blows fine coolant levels are good and theres no overheating. It seems like it could be a blend door issue but weve been told this model might not even have a standard actuator. Anybody got any ideas on what could be going on?

Could it be a partially clogged heater core even if it was flushed? Sometimes they're tricky

Yeah @HighwayHero, heater cores can be sneaky like that. Even after a flush, a partial clog can really mess with heat output. Definitely worth giving that another look before pulling more panels.
